Interrail Diary - Budapest

The third stop was Budapest, to reach Budapest we got a night train, this was an experience, an ancient train with small bunk beds and cramped cabins. Once we reached Budapest after a night of no sleep we decided to go out and trek around the city in the 35 degree heat which was a slight mistake. This day we saw lots of sights and climbed up the hill to the castle, at the top you have amazing views of the city, would definitely recommend, however make sure you do it after some sleep! We also visited the Sczyznei baths, this was a nice relaxed day. Shopping wise around Budapest, there are lots of vintage shops that sell English brands, so these are worth a little root around, you’ll find lots of Topshop, H&M, Ralph Lauren etc.
